Having been a member of SL for over 5 years now - I'm probably a 'senior' member of the community.  Although I've seen a lot of changes, the thing that remains constant is the sheer level of creativity that abounds here. I'm fascinated by the concept of creativity within a virtual environment.  In reality I enjoy Art of all kinds, having had an arts education - and paint, draw and sculpt in wire, as the mood takes me.

My work often involves the surreal, the fantasy - this is something that challenges and inspires me to create.  I don't pretend to be a technical photographer of any kind - that is something for me to learn in the real world.  Within SL my pictures illustrate the ideas I have, the things I read, or the music I hear, and for this, I often manipulate my basic images in Photoshop, using texture, brushes, stock items to convey my idea or thought process.  This is what comprises my own Second Life creative journey, as well the things I find I'm learning along the way.

Co-owner of the Benzaiten and 13 Galleries, with Fingers Scintilla, we are very much interested in the crossover between art within a virtual environment and that in the real world and how these co-exist.
